Blizzard is the one finger portray I have made in 5 years that was once touched with a broom. This makes it different. Earlier than this portray was once a snowy wooded area scene, it was once a weeping willow within the spring. Then again, the composition felt too inexperienced and too flat. I did not really feel like I may step into it. The portray rested in my studio for months, taunting me till in spite of everything I spotted that I may paint snow into it. With a flat brush, I delivered snow into the bad house among bushes, bushes that did not at first exist within the willow composition. The place you notice tree trunks is what was a mix of weeping willow leaves and a hillside. Actually, if you happen to blur your eyes, you’ll even see the thick trunk of the willow taking on the best 3rd of the portray. In most cases I will not store artwork, however on this unmarried fortunate case I used to be able to grow to be a spring willow right into a wintery wooded area of aspens. I’m very happy. This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the portray keeps across the facets. It comes able to hold.
